‘Our Paths Crossed Then’ - Another love story
Two humans cross paths, they are both built in different ways, made up of different things, and already constructed. The moment they meet, they do not become one, but remain side by side, each one having their effect on the other, peering through each other's windows and sharing their stories.
At this point a new story begins to grow. This story is represented by the tree growing up from between them, it is a future and an unknown, it is organic and it can grow in many ways. It is a story that needs nurturing and care.
I have used architecture to represent what each character is ‘built’ from.
The man's form is a more European style building, (my own husband is French) and the woman's body is in the style of the timber houses that we build in the north of Australia called "Queenslanders"
